De-mystifying the PAC Budget

posted 30 Oct 2010 08:28 by krista degoede

Thanks to the efforts of our new Treasurer, Davona, and the Executive, we have a new page that explains the line items that appear on our PAC budget. The work here has just started, but Davona selected the two most curious categories: Community Development and Educational Programs.

Davona hopes this information will help parents be more informed about how PAC money is spent. Thanks Davona!

Thank you to all Jumble Sale volunteers!

posted 26 Apr 2010 11:56 by krista degoede

Many, many people volunteered to make our Jumble Sale a great success. This was a big event for our school and all volunteers worked extremely hard. We were rewarded with approximately $6,000 in funds for the new playground. Thanks goes to Rachel Franklin for coordinating and leading this effort.

A special thanks goes out to our new Vice Principal - Read helped out on Friday and was there throughout the day on Saturday until the very end. We didn't get a shot of him mopping up the gym floor after the clean up, but that's how hard he was working!
